In the emotion charged Summer of 1968 following the murder of Martin Luther King, Australian Peter Norman did two remarkable things.

Neither of these achievements have been appropriately recognised by Peter Norman’s home country Australia.

Peter Norman achieved arguably our greatest ever track performance to snatch silver in the Olympic 200 metre sprint, smashing records that still stand today.
