Colleges Crossing and Moggill Ferry suffer interruption due to water release
Tuesday, 12 October 2010 15:34
There has been significant interruption to traffic flow with the closure of Colleges Crossing as a result of water releases of the, at capacity, Wivenhoe Dam. As a result of these releases and debris that washes down the watercourse of the Brisbane River conditions have intermittently become hazardous for the Moggill Ferry and it has also suffered closure.
Further information and notification of road closures can be found at http://www.tmr.qld.gov.au/Travel-and-transport/Road-and-traffic-info.aspx or by calling 13 1940.
Residents should be mindful that there may be further interruptions
