Electricity Upgrade for Kenmore

A significant upgrade of the electricity around the Kenmore Sub Station at the corner of Mirbelia Street and Brookfield Road will occur during July. 

The purpose of the upgrade is to improve the reliability of supply in Kenmore, Kenmore Hills, Brookfield, Chapel Hill and Fig Tree Pocket and to increase the capacity locally to cater for continuing growth in electricity demand. 

The works will include the installation of new underground power cables from the Kenmore Sub Station. 

Energex do not expect power interruptions but traffic control along roads and footpaths where work is being conducted will be in place. To read more about the electrical upgrade please click here.
