Proposed safety improvements Mt Crosby Rd and Kangaroo Gully Rd

The Department of Transport and Main Roads has advised my office that they are seeking community feedback in relation to proposed safety improvement works at the intersection of Mt Crosby Road and Kangaroo Gully Road at Anstead.

The proposed works include:-

o widening Mt Crosby Road through the intersection and installing a right-turn lane
o installing a left-turn lane from Mt Crosby Road into Kangaroo Gully Road
o widening the Kangaroo Gully Road approach and installing a left-turn slip lane into Mt Crosby Road
o upgrading street lights at the intersection
o realigning property accesses to suit the new intersection layout and to improve safety
o upgrading signage at the intersection.

I encourage local residents to give their feedback on these proposed safety works.
