Traffic Light Chaos Shows Inadequacy of Local Roads

A traffic light malfunction last Thursday created massive traffic chaos with local motorists taking up to 1½ hours just to get to Toowong. 

This just highlights the inadequacy of local roads. Congestion through Kenmore and Chapel Hill has deteriorated and I share our community’s frustration with what I regard as an unacceptable situation with local roads. 

We are still awaiting any official response from the Government on the Kenmore Bypass. 

The fact that a simple traffic light malfunction can shut down our area and cut us off from the rest of Brisbane simply highlights how serious this problem is.
