Congratulations OLR on “Park and Stride”

If you thought that congestion around central Kenmore was a little better of Wednesday the 4th August you are probably right.

 

OLR Catholic Primary School held a Park and Stride day suggesting parents park at the Kenmore Park and Ride and walk their children to the school. 

The Park and Stride day was supported with prizes for children and a coffee for Mum and Dad.  Congratulations OLR on this initiative that encourages physical activity in children and less dependence on cars in and around school precincts. 

I have written to both the schools in the central Kenmore area and suggested they might consider putting this forward as an option to parents.
