Kenmore High World Challenge Expedition
Friday, 10 February 2012 10:16
Every two years, students from Kenmore State High School participate in the World Challenge Expedition.
This year, in November, they are heading off to Borneo where they will be involved in trekking through difficult terrain as well as participating in a local community project.
Participating students gain valuable life skills, experience a different culture close up, and contribute to the community they visit.
They are currently working on raising their own funds to cover trip expenses and to donate to the community they will be visiting in Borneo.
If you would like to support them, donation cheques can be made out to the Kenmore State High School World Challenge Group and addressed to Kate Bullen at Kenmore High School, PO Box 116 Kenmore QLD 4069.
