Guardrails get the go ahead

It is pleasing to see the Government has responded to my calls to replace rotted and unsafe guardrails on sections of Moggill Road near the Kenmore Roundabout.
The Government had earlier deflected the issue claiming quite amazingly this was NOT maintenance and would have to await new project funding.

This is an important safety retaining barrier passed by tens of thousands of cars a day. It is particularly important because inbound lanes are at higher grade than outbound lanes. This poses a risk of a potentially fatal head-on collision if a safety barrier with structural integrity is not in place.
The Government back down with immediate (although somewhat belated) commencement of work is an important win for safety of local motorists on Moggill Road.
