Proposed Changes to Merlin Terrace/Moggill Road Intersection

The State Government has announced that they will make changes, in particular stopping right hand turns into and out of Merlin Terrace at Moggill Road and some other works.  

This really is a bad piece of road with no perfect solution. 

I am very concerned about the safety of this intersection and clearly something had to be done.  However the total ban on right hand turns means that all traffic going to businesses on Merlin Terrace, of which there are a number, will need to go through narrow, circuitous residential streets via Princeton Street. 

This route in itself is not overly safe and will not be a positive for local residents and I have let my concerns be known in relation to this.  For your interest click here to read the Government’s intentions and click here to view a map of them.
