Overgrown Kenmore Roundabout a bad look

Much as we all hate the traffic chaos around the approaches to the Kenmore Roundabout it is still one of the areas most prominent features and it is disappointing to see it overgrown with weeds and not contributing to a good appearance for the area. 

Having written to the Department of Main Roads who are responsible for Moggill Road I am informed that they are having trouble keeping up with weeds because we have had a wet summer and that other issues are more important than aesthetic ones. 

Be that as it may it seems that it would not be difficult to get somebody to clean it up and have it looking an attractive feature.  Goodness knows motorist spend long enough sitting in their cars looking at it. 

I will continue to press the State Government to maintain their local road asset in a presentable condition.
